Deuteronomy 6:5-9

"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Taylor's protocol

Saturday, April 27th, we had the pleasure of escorting Taylor to her Spring Protocol. In Classical Conversations the high school students take part in this event. It's a time when the kids get all dressed up, go out to dinner, and then to some event. They get the chance to practice all the etiquette rules.

Taylor is having such a great ninth grade year. She loves her Challenge class that she meets with each Friday. They are a great group of young adults. For their protocol we went to Sullivans in Raleigh for dinner, where I must say I had the best mashed potatoes....EVER! We then went to Raleigh Little Theatre and watched the play, The Importance of Being Earnest. The night ended with a trip to Krispy Kreme where things didn't go according to protocol, that is unless doughnut eating contests count.

We are so glad we were able to go and share this special night. We are so proud of Taylor and the beautiful young lady she is becoming. I can't wait to see all that God has in store for her.
