Wednesday- day in the desert

We drove about 15 minutes out of the city today, to the desert. This was confusing to Andrew because he knew that we were already in the "desert." But where we drove today is a place my brother goes to ride his 4 wheeler. You can see for miles, the clouds look as though they never end, there are very few houses, lots of cacti, and random cows. The few houses we saw were very strange. They were the size of those portable storage things. They didn't have windows or electricity. We saw one adobe home, and it had a huge hole dug beside it with a van backed down into the hole. I don't know if the person lived under ground or what. It was very interesting.
